BIO:
Back From Zero actually started back in 2006 when it’s creator Austin Collins was at one of the lowest points of his life and realized what is was like to be at what was his bottom. He had found some fellow city musicians and started it with people from all different areas of NYC.

The band he started has gone through many incarnations however until it reached its current line up. It truly took form in 2012 when he found lead Singer Dean Bonsignore and they began playing some material Austin had lying around. Soon after He and Dean began their journey, Deans best friend Erik agreed to start jamming with them and began putting together even more songs with both Dean and Austin. They had booked some shows and started playing out in the NYC area. After about a year of playing out as a trio, they had run into some terrible shots that they had to play and called it quits for about a year.

Something in them however sparked, and soon they slowly began to meet again to play, this time with some other local friends they had met. This would continue for a short while and culminate into playing just one show together before paring ways with the newer two people.

After a about a year or so after, they began to talk about revamping and coming out with even more new music. But how? With who? It’s didn’t work as a trio…

Then, Steve Castania showed up. Steve immersed and before they knew it, they were out in full force playing to a new crowd and in bigger and better venues…

It was then that they knew, Back From Zero had truly emerged. It had culminated, and it was here to stay. They were now a force to be reckoned with.

From the basement of Erik Samuelsen, to some of the beat venues in Nee York City, they had risen to a place of notoriety in the what famously known as The Greatest City in the World. The one where Frank Sinatra sang how, ‘If you can make here, you can make  it anywhere…’, and that’s just what they were doing.

Back From Zero, from the basements of Brooklyn to the heights of NYC. One band, with a sound for the world to hear.
