Coming soon on all your favorite streaming services and on physical CD, American Bombshell’s second full length album “Tattooed ‘n Bruised” continues their quest to create the new generation of classic rock, with nods to the sleaze of Sunset Strip and the NYC glam scene along the way.  Riff laden, with strong hooks and memorable choruses, it’s the rock and roll album you didn’t know you couldn’t live without.
Influences for the album:
AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Van Halen
Formed in 2014, American Bombshell rose out of the need to create stripped down, in your face rock and roll – something that seemed to be lacking in today’s music landscape.  Classic rock radio is stuck in a mire of yesterdays hits, never searching for what will be the ‘new’ classics.  Many of the greats are gone or on their final goodbye tours.  It’s time for an infusion of new blood into the pantheons of rock music.  American Bombshell is here to do just that – give rock music lovers the new music they never realized they needed.
Guitarist Steve Boyles and drummer Jason Carr started working together a few years prior to Bombshell, discovering they both had similar passions, and worked well together in crafting music.  They enjoyed success with previous band Join the Dead, but a need to simplify and streamline the music led them to start building something a little different.  They reached out to some fellow musicians within the local scene who had expressed some interest to shake things up a little, cherry picking arguably the best of the best in regional talent.  Enter Jay Cee (vocals), Andy Nixon (lead guitar), and Dustin Green (bass).  The line-up complete, they quickly started writing what would become their first full length titled “No Regrets”.  In form and message, saying to the world “here we are – take it or leave it”, the album solidified their direction and attitude.  The first single “Another Dead Rockstar” earned Bombshell the grand prize in a nationwide contest hosted by The Grammys – beating out over 4000 other artists and earning them a chance to record a song (My Drug) with Grammy award winning producer Mike Clink at the legendary EastWest Studios in Hollywood, CA.  Currently, American Bombshell is prepping the release of their second album “Tattooed ‘N Bruised” on Dave Ellefson’s EMP Label Group, and continuing to destroy stages wherever they go.
